Want to know just how big New York City really is? Check out The Panorama at the Queens Museum. The Panorama is an architectural scale model of the city. It has almost 1 million actual city buildings scaled 1:1200 and laid out on a map of the city larger than a gymnasium floor. Visitors walk around on an balcony-like walkway a few feet above the model. This is a great visit for adults and children alike. FYI - we visit on our Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens tour.
