What you can expect on our
New York Layover Tours
Have a layover in New York? We will custom design a New York layover tour just for you.
If you have a Kennedy Airport layover, Newark Airport layover or LaGuardia Airport layover, we will come out to the airport to get you. We will meet you at the luggage carousel assigned to your flight, even if your luggage is being checked through. It will be easy for you to spot us. We will be wearing a big smile and holding a sign with your name. We will then load you and your luggage, if necessary, into our vehicle and set out on one of our New York layover tours.
If you will be arriving at one of the cruise terminals, we will come to Manhattan, Brooklyn or Cape Liberty, in Bayonne New Jersey, to get you. Maybe, you have New York layover between your cruise ship arrival and flight home. Maybe, your New York layover is between your arriving flight and departing cruise, or maybe it is more of a day stop on your cruise and you are looking for a personal and private New York shore excursion.
Whether a JFK layover, Newark layover, LaGuardia layover, cruise layover or New York shore excursion, we are prepared to help you make the best use of your New York layover time.
Remember, this is the city that doesn’t sleep! New York layover tours are just as much fun at night, or overnight, as a New York layover tour during the day, just in case you have a late arrival and early departure the next day.
Don't waste your New York layover time! A New York layover tour could be the best part of your trip (previous guests have told us so)!

Important note about
New York Driving Tours
***All of our New York driving tours, including layover tours and shore excursions, are conducted in full compliance with the law. Each of our staff conducting New York driving tours is a licensed New York City sightseeing guide and livery driver. Similarly, each vehicle, as required by law, is registered with the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC). If you are using another company to conduct your New York driving tours and you do not see these licenses fixed to the vehicle, as required by law, immediately dial "911." You are the victim of a crime in process. You can also call "311" from any where in New York City to report the matter. After the fact, you can also forward the details of the company to us and we will refer them on to the proper authorities. Who knows? You may get your money back!
Do not risk your New York driving tour and well-being to a service that is unlicensed and therefore uninsured to provide commercial driving services to the public. Even a minor accident with minor injuries can result in thousands of dollars in medical expenses for which you will not be covered in a vehicle and / or with a driver operating without the proper license and proper insurance. In fact, you may be held responsible for damage to others and / or their property for not engaging in due diligence and hiring an unlicensed and uninsured service to drive you around.
At the beginning of your tour and before stepping into the vehicle, make sure the license plate bears the letters "T&LC" (Taxi & Limousine Commission) at bottom in the middle and the blue TLC "medallion" appears on the passenger's side of the windshield and on each of the vehicle's two rear windows. Also, make sure the driver's blue / green NYC TLC license with matching photograph is posted on the dashboard.
Why would someone and / or their vehicle not be appropriately licensed and registered? Can they not pass the drug test or physical exam? Do they have a bad driving record or criminal record? These laws are in place to protect you - the public. Do not become a victim!
***Please note that the above applies to all New York driving tours, not just layover tours.***
